After visiting 45 states and spending three to six months each year on the road, I’ve learned there’s an art to planning a group trip. The destination has to have enough space for everyone to do their own thing, but still offer those magic moments that bring everyone back together at the end of the day. I’ve rented cabins where we grilled by the lake until midnight, explored beach towns where the only debate was which seafood shack to hit first, and hiked national parks that left us all speechless at the same overlook.
